Tiger Mountain Innovations, Inc. was formed in 2004 by Amee Quiriconi when she began developing Squak Mountain Stone in her garage. At the begining of 2009, Amee partnered with a new start-up in Seattle that was in the invention-stage of producing another variety of mineral-based recycled-content countertops (Trinity) and Tiger Mountain Innovations, LLC (TMI)came to be.
Today, as it was in 2004, TMI’s focus and pride is on making handmade, sculptural stone slabs with genuine environmental and social character. TMI products are a blend of “craft production” with “mass production.” The products we make are meant to be a true homage to natural stone, not only in their look but also their performance and character. We are not attempting to provide reproductions of processed resin or plastic based materials.
